Josies Christmas Ship
Don't I just love Marts clamps!
I made this ship for my good friend and colleague Josie...she is the reason I'm so organized although I think she must think organizing me is like putting an octopus in a matchbox. She told me once that she was all set when she was younger to run away to sea and has harboured a love of sailing ships ever since. So hence the idea of bringing a sailing ship to her rather than her having to seek one out..although this cannot compare I'm sure with the sight of a tall ship with the wind in its sails.Anyway she loved it so all's well that ends well!
As the new year approaches I noticed today that I seem to be full of emotion which I appear to be surfing on.The reality of what is approaching is both exciting , hopeful and terrifying. I think the next few weeks will fly.It feels strange and sad to be temporarily saying goodbye to my clients and supervisees for a few months and the next two weeks will be full of these.
Happy New Year .May it be healthy, hopeful and joyful for all of us. Tracey x
