Tracey Walshaw: I am a fifty two year old mother of two fantastic young people and wife to man whose gifting me his kidney some time very soon. I have polycystic disease and am currently in renal failure awaiting transplant .I am a person centred counsellor, supervisor and trainer, a mosaic artist, writer, a great cook, funny, terrible speller and sometimes provocative. I decided to create a blog to engage some of my creativity in talking about some of my thoughts and experiences throughout this whole transplant process. My creative process seems to manifest itself in creating images and making things which help me think and focus on what is currently happening for me. This blog will be about my experience throughout this process and in no way is an attempt to suggest this is how it is for other people. I am hoping that one of the spin-offs from this blog is to raise awareness about kidney donation.
