Patience
Shes got alot of neck!
Gorgeous eh?
Patience is the order of the day! Before we can get a date for transplant Mart has to have an assessment with his surgeon, which was planned for next Tuesday 29th and then an independent assessor assess' the match and then we get a date. But just come back from my clinic appointment to find its been cancelled and were waiting for them to rearrange. So we're having to be patient. This feels hard today as we can almost touch the transplant but nothing can happen untill this part of the process happens. SO it doesn't look too promising for transplant before Christmas. Still waiting for the dots to be joined up! But I still consider myself to be exceptionally lucky and blessed that I have a live donor. When we tell folks that Marts a donor sometimes you can see the awe of it on their faces that hes a match and hes prepared to donate his kidney.Jokingly I asked one friend which is more amazing the fact we are a match or we've been married for thirty years?
But look at Patience. Isn't she lovely. Mart still maintains hes not creative but having seen Patience I have to disagree!
